"Inspired by ancient cultures of the North country, the Toteemi are intuitively hand painted assemblages on found woods by a legitimate Washington State folk artist. Each is imbued with imaginative powers like the Finnish Väki of the forests. They will bring good and positive energy to your home or work space."
Gregg Laananen is a self-taught artist who lives and works in the Skagit Valley. He began painting in 2006 through the encouragement of his friend, the late artist, Ed Kamuda. He continues to exhibit in galleries in Seattle and the Skagit Valley.
