Born in 1951 in Tacoma, Washington, Michael Zitka has been making his folk art animals and birds for more than 50 years. Made of pine and painted with latex paint, they are small treasures that will last for years to come.

In this new collection by Michael, surrealist sized fruit and friendly feathered flyers are made out of wood and hand-painted. His crows are given golden eyes, his owls are a russet color as they perch on their branch. These pieces are fun and whimsical yet, the craft and attention to detail are quite serious.

Join us in viewing the collection, we hope you enjoy Michael's work as much as we do.
