Menko, a Japanese card game collected by children, dates back from pre war 1930’s to the 1970’s. These vintage cards have vivid colorful graphics of actors, comedians, sports figures, mixed in with manga, super heroes and characters featured in movies from that era. Some are vignettes featuring Japanese idioms and folk art. These graphics are small works of art. The wonderful printed colors and images take you on a unique journey to another time and place.
