Heiando Japanese Lacquerware Dome Box - Ume

Ume tree and flowers hand painted on lid features maki-e (gold gilding) ultra fine gold powder over wet lacquer. Urushi (lacquer) is a 100% ecological coating material made from the Rhus Verniciflua tree sap mixed with mineral-based pigments. A container for serving food, candies, jewelry, and much more.

Care instructions:
Wash in lukewarm water with a soft sponge. To restore luster, polish with a soft dry cloth, and if necessary a drop or two of vegetable oil. Avoid direct sunlight,  microwave, dishwasher, stoves, heaters, excessive moisture, sharp utensils/objects.
