Gift Envelope with Mizuhiki

Style

A traditional envelope of congratulations for monetary gifting in Japan. Mizuhiki is a decorative knot-tying technique, and is included with the envelope.

Use these envelopes to present cash gifts or gift cards for birthdays, graduations, weddings or for any special occasion.

Sold separately, tai or sea bream and maneki-neko or luck cat

In Japanese, sea bream is called tai and is a symbol of good luck and is often used in traditional events and celebrations. The fish's vivid red color and beautiful shape are associated with good luck, and the word tai rhymes with the Japanese word medetai, which means "auspicious" or "congratulatory.

The maneki neko  is a good luck symbol to beckon good health, longevity, and prosperity.
