Michael Zitka: Bird Watching

Turtle Stool by Michael Zitka

A turtle stool inspired by Americana craftsmen foot stools in the 1930s. Made of birch plywood and painted with exterior latex paint. It also makes a great stand for art objects, a plant, a stack of your favorite books, still life, etc.

Modern-day folk artist Michael Zitka transforms materials from the lumberyard into woodpeckers, robins, his coveted crows and other wonderful versions of our feathered friends. Woodworked and painted by hand.
