Blended with indigo and charcoal powder, and finished with a refreshing aroma from natural essential oils of lemongrass and rosemary, this soap is crafted using a cold process method, a time consuming process taking four to six weeks to cure. Both natural indigo and charcoal is said to have antibacterial and anti-inflammatory benefits. From Atelier Juju: "I am from Tokushima, Japan which is well-known for Indigo. I was wondering how I can showcase my hometown, and decided to use indigo for my soap making."
The soap is wrapped in Awagami, a traditional Japanese handmade washi paper from Tokushima, Japan.
Ingredients: Olive oil, shea butter, coconut oil, lye, filtered water, indigo powder, charcoal powder, lemongrass essential oil, and rosemary essential oil.
