Heiando Keyaki Hirasuji Soup Bowl

This is a soup bowl carved out with a traditional technique called "Hirasuji" (flat stripes) really accentuating the wood grain. Mouth of the bowl is wide and shallow in depth, great for drinking miso soup. It is made of Japanese Zelkova wood called "Keyaki". Fits perfectly in the palm of your hand.

Care instructions:
Wash in lukewarm water with a soft sponge. To restore luster, polish with a soft dry cloth, and if necessary a drop or two of vegetable oil. Avoid direct sunlight, microwave, dishwasher, stoves, heaters, excessive moisture, sharp utensils such as knife or fork.
