Letterhead, stationery box or Te-bunko in Japanese. Calligraphy on lid is ''uraraka na haru no youki'', which conjures the image of a warm and beautiful sunny day in spring (also "Haru urara" or "glorious spring"). Cashew lacquer and maki-e (gold gilding).

Care instructions:
To restore luster, polish with a soft dry cloth, and if necessary a drop or two of vegetable oil. Avoid direct sunlight, heaters, excessive moisture/humidity.
