Heiando "Ryu" Japanese Lacquer Salad Bowl

Sho-Ryu Bowl

This is a center piece bowl from the series "Ryu (Japanese dragon)." The abstract dragon was hand drawn with the traditional technique called "Makie". The bowl can be used as a serving bowl for food but also as an ice bucket for drinks on special occasions. This piece can be also used as a container for a flower - ikebana arrangement.

Care instructions:
Wash in lukewarm water with a soft sponge. To restore luster, polish with a soft dry cloth, and if necessary a drop or two of vegetable oil. Avoid direct sunlight,  microwave, dishwasher, stoves, heaters, excessive moisture, sharp utensils such as knife or fork.
