Kutani Pincushion - Purple

Kutani ware is a type of pottery that uses bright colors, bold and elegant patterns, and a technique called Etsuke painting. Originally, Kutani ware started in 1655 in Kaga, Ishikawa prefecture. The pincushion material is made from Noto Futakoshi Chirimen, which has a unique texture, and each piece is threaded by hand with care, one-by-one to give it a beautiful texture. This is a Hiro original item. This beautiful pincushion can be displayed as a small interior decoration or can be used as a pincushion.
