About Atsuko
After working as a designer for many years, I realized that I had, without even noticing, stopped drawing with the same sense of joy I felt as a child. I created this calendar out of a desire to draw freely once again.
My choice of botanical motifs may have been influenced by my mother, who loved growing beautiful flowers. I drew images that capture the beautiful forms of nature and turned them into a calendar that my mother could keep close at hand. I approach my creative work with a deep appreciation for each passing day.
