James Brems practices the art of simplicity. He lived in Japan several years ago while studying ceramics, and has a background in Asian languages and literature. He was also a longtime staff member at the Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture.
His latest work include his ink drawings, Bird Blankets and Block Paintings in prints.
