One of the Seven Lucky Gods, Ebisu is the god of fishing and tradespeople. In one hand is a fishing pole, and the other "tai" or red snapper (symbol of luck). Waranbe is child or youth. Comes with a platform. Hand carved and painted. Atsushi Tanaka is an award winning wood sculptor known for his charming illustrations of everyday life in Japan. His studio is on a small island off the coast of Shikoku. Comes in a board box signed by the artist.
