Sho-ki Nobori

This piece is a Japanese banner (nobori). Sho-ki is the Japanese name for a Chinese mythological diety named Zhong Kui. Sho-ki has his game face on, he is ready to go to battle against evil and ghost on your behalf.

This is a vintage piece. There are tabs along the side and top of the banner for hanging on a rod/pole. We suggest hanging this banner indoors as the fabric is thin in some spots, due to its age.

Made in Japan. Meiji era.
