Heiando Japanese Lacquerware "Ryu" Serving Bowl


This is a serving piece from the series "Ryu" (Japanese dragon). The abstract dragon was hand drawn with the traditional gilding technique called "Maki-e". This is a shallow bowl which can be used to serve sushi, salads and hors d'oeuvres on special occasions.

Care instructions:
Wash in lukewarm water with a soft sponge. To restore luster, polish with a soft dry cloth, and if necessary a drop or two of vegetable oil. Avoid direct sunlight, microwave, dishwasher, stoves, heaters, excessive moisture, sharp utensils such as knife or fork.
