Harappa Aizu Cotton Tote

Hand dyed and woven Japanese cotton tote. Lined with cotton. Aizu Momen (Cotton) is a traditional craft (since the 17th century) preserved in the old Aizu County of the former Mutsu Province (today it is Fukushima Prefecture). The cotton textile is plain woven and durable and was generally used for work clothes. Harappa has upheld the dyeing and weaving process of their predecessors Harayama Textile Company, hoping that 400 years of tradition can be passed on to future generations. This is Japan quality!
