On Paper

不滅 Fumetsu, “immortal” or “indestructible” 2

From the first stanza of the Emily Dickinson poem, “Because I could not stop for Death”.

Because I could not stop for Death –
He kindly stopped for me –
The Carriage held just but Ourselves –
And immortality.
