Vintage kokeshi. A Japanese folk craft, Kokeshi (wooden doll), were made by wood craftsmen for onsen (hot springs) souvenir. Children were especially drawn to them and became a toy to collect. Shape, facial feature, flower or no decoration, and color, differed according to region. Signed on the bottom.
